After studying Media, Andy Mackenzie went to London where he worked as a freelance lighting cameraman. Realising that observational documentaries on DIY were not for him, he returned to Scotland in 2004 in order to pursue his real passion... photography, particularly landscape. " I get a buzz from having to plan a trip, getting up in the middle of the night and driving for hours, then having to deal with whatever nature decides to throw my way." Andy Mackenzie is now based in Fife, where he lives with his young family. |
